“Spanish House”
Sueños Artist Series (7 of 12), 2026
Paper, Glue, Printer's Ink, Glass, Natural Cork, Fermented Grape JuiceCalifornia’s oldest houses always are a special shade of yellow-white: Not painted—accumulated—layer by layer, with a decade or two of afternoon sunshine in-between. You’ll find it on the courtyard walls at the La Purisima Mission, the slowly fading storefronts of Guadalupe, and sides of surf shacks and bungalows lining the streets of every town that was once a Pueblo. This piece pays homage to the color of those old houses, and the lives lived within.
“Spanish House” is available for $100.
