A wine from a vineyard in a forest in the sky. Foot-trodden rather than mechanically pressed, this co-fermented white blend hits like a lemon verbena laser beam, then unfolds into stone fruit, honey and pure texture. A perfect cool-climate white for a warm, sunny day.

Co-fermented Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Refosco, Pinot Noir & Syrah
A co-fermented red table wine from a 45-year-old head trained vines in an own rooted and utterly unique backyard vineyard. Blackberries and Bing cherries. Brambly, stony and herbaceous—just like the trail that leads past the vineyard’s gate and into the redwoods beyond.

This limited edition case is literally the first twelve bottles of wine I ever made, and it’s the last of that inaugural 2023 vintage that will ever be sold.

Alta Sueños makes wine from grapes farmed to organic standards and fermented on their native yeasts. Using simple, time-consuming methods, we aim for an honest expression of what each vineyard can create.
In other words, I’m striving to make the kind of wine I’ve always loved to drink: Small-lot, site-driven, and priced to be opened without hesitation—whatever the occasion happens to be.
Currently, we’re offering these wines through our mailing list, rather than an online/website point-of-sale. The main reason is that there simply isn’t a lot of this wine to go around—but I also just like doing it this way, because it’s a chance to get to know every person who tries the wine.

California, Oregon, Washington: Currently we are shipping along the west coast in lightly insulated packaging.
Midwest: For now, we will ship 12-bottle cases only. These will contain the standard insulation and a cold pack. Shipments are dropped at UPS Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid weekend warehouse holds. Expedited shipping and more sophisticated insulation options can be arranged, just ask when you email.
East Coast, Texas, Arizona and other Points South: Summer highs unfortunately put the wines at risk during transport. That said, you don't have to miss out on these wines — simply submit your order now and we will hold your wines at cellar temperature until the fall.
Anyone, anywhere can pre-order now for fall shipment if preferred.
